Chili Cook Off
Sunday. Breakfast - Two eggs, over-medium with a slice of sourdough toast before Church. After Church my friend Jenn and I stayed for their chili cookoff. We tried lots of different chili in little sample cups (sooo good!) that probably amounted to a full bowl of chili after Church (no pics - didn't have my phone).

Melt vegetable shortening in a skillet over medium heat. Roll each stuffed pepper in flour, tap off excess flour, and dip into the egg mixture to coat both sides. Gently lay coated peppers into the hot shortening. Fry peppers until lightly golden brown and cheese has melted, about 5 minutes per side. Baking Nana.

1 package Williams Chili Seasoning. 1 can hot Rotel diced tomatoes. 4 lb ground hamburger. Fry the bacon in a pan. Remove the bacon when done and add the hamburger to the pan. While hamburger cooks, chop bacon. Place both into a slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients. Heat on low for 6 hours (or overnight) or on high for 4 hours.
